Midwest Medical Center
OS Inc. and efficientC helped the Midwest Medical team with business office support and maximizing productivity.
Overview
At the time of engagement, Midwest Medical Center was an 18-bed Critical Access facility located in Galena, Illinois. In addition to general medical and surgical services, this facility offers adult day care, assisted living and nursing home services. On the administrative side, Midwest Medical Center was going through a transition in personnel that made the recent opening of a replacement facility difficult. They began experiencing delays in the claim cycle and witnessed an increase in A/R.
Solution
OS inc. stepped in and offered Midwest Medical Center a complete lineup of business office support. efficientC allowed the team to maximize productivity, automate workflow and keep denial rates low.
With efficientC as the revenue cycle solution, OS inc. rooted itself in all of the client's business office functions including:
- Billing
- Follow-up
- Secondary Billing
- Customer Service
- Cash Posting
- Refunds
- Collection
- Bad Debt

Within a few months, OS inc. helped Midwest Medical Center turn the corner and significantly shorten the claim cycle. OS inc. also helped the client reduce their GDRO by more than 30 days.
